Since inception in 2003, OROGENIC GEOEXPRO SDN BHD (OGEO) has grown from strength to strength to become one of the leading survey companies in the Southeast Asia region. The company has completed more than 700 projects, and counting, in various service lines (i.e. Positioning, Offshore Construction Survey Support, ROV, Hydrographic Survey, Geophysical Survey, Geotechnical Site Investigation and Land Survey) and currently employs more than 70 office and field specialists to support its operations in Malaysia and other countries in this region.
OGEO is headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and operates 4 other Operational Bases in Malaysia (Kemaman & Labuan), Thailand (Songkhla) and Brunei (Kuala Belait).

BACKGROUND
Orogenic Thales GeoSolutions Sdn Bhd (OTG) was formed in early 2003 as a 60:40 Joint Venture between Orogenic Holdings Sdn Bhd and Thales GeoSolutions (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (TGM). Following the takeover of Thales GeoSolutions Limited by Fugro NV in November 2003, OTG decided to become independent and had been operating on its own in a separate office since 1st May 2004.
In May 2005, Orogenic Holdings finalized the purchase of the 40% shares from Fugro NV, and thereby turned OTG into a 100%, Self-Operated, Malaysian Company. The company name was subsequently changed to Orogenic GeoExpro Sdn Bhd (OGEO).
Since then, OGEO business has grown substantially to become one of the leading survey companies in the Southeast Asia region.
Apart from its Main Office, the company has also expanded geographically with operational bases set up in Kemaman, Labuan and Brunei.
